Get answers to common questions about Upper lip.
Results usually last 2–6 weeks depending on individual hair growth, genetics, and aftercare. Regular waxing appointments can extend smooth intervals and soften regrowth for a cleaner, low-maintenance look.
No. Waxing removes hair from the root, which does not cause thicker or darker regrowth. Hair may feel coarser initially, but repeated waxing typically leads to finer, sparser regrowth over time.
Some discomfort is normal, but our trained technicians use quick, efficient techniques to minimize pain. We offer pre-wax cleansing and post-wax calming products, and can perform a patch test for very sensitive skin.
Ensure hair is about ¼ inch long, clean, and free from oils or heavy products. Gently exfoliate 48 hours before to prevent ingrown hairs, and avoid sun or strong exfoliants right before your appointment.
Avoid touching the area, heavy sweating, sun exposure, and hot baths for 24–48 hours. Apply soothing aloe or our recommended calming serum, skip exfoliation for two days, and use SPF on healed skin.
Shaving between waxes is not recommended as it can change growth patterns and increase stubble. If necessary, use a clean sharp razor carefully, but ideally wait and return for waxing when regrowth allows.
