Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Ears.

Most Ears waxing appointments are brief — usually 5–15 minutes including consultation and aftercare. Timing depends on hair amount and any additional grooming. We prioritize comfort and hygiene, so we’ll work efficiently while ensuring a smooth, soothing finish.

Some sensation is normal, but our trained technicians use gentle wax and calming techniques to minimize discomfort. Pre- and post-care reduce sensitivity. We can adjust approach, perform a patch test, or recommend numbing options if you’re highly sensitive.

Arrive with clean, dry ears free of lotions or oils. Avoid heavy exercise or sun exposure immediately beforehand. If possible, let hair be at least a quarter-inch long. Inform us about medications or skin conditions so we can tailor treatment and avoid irritation.

Most clients return every 4–6 weeks, depending on personal growth rate. Over time growth often slows, extending intervals. We'll advise a schedule tailored to your hair pattern and desired maintenance, balancing comfort and cost-effectiveness.

Common temporary effects include mild redness, sensitivity, or small bumps that fade within 24–48 hours. Proper aftercare reduces risk of irritation or ingrown hairs. Contact us if redness persists, swelling increases, or signs of infection appear—prompt advice and treatment are available.

We do not wax inside the actual ear canal for safety reasons. We carefully remove visible outer ear hair and behind-ear growth using gentle, controlled techniques. If you have deep or medical concerns, we’ll recommend a safe alternative or refer you to a specialist.
