Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Upper Legs.

Most clients enjoy smooth upper legs for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles. Regular waxing can slow regrowth over time. Avoid shaving between appointments to maintain results and schedule follow-ups every 4–6 weeks for consistent smoothness.

Some sensitivity is normal, especially at the first appointment, but most tolerate waxing well. Reduce discomfort by exfoliating a day or two before, avoiding caffeine, taking a mild pain reliever if suitable, and communicating with your technician for adjustments.

Ensure hair is about 1/4 inch long, avoid moisturizers or oils on the day, exfoliate gently 24–48 hours prior, and disclose medications or skin treatments. Clean, dry skin and an honest consultation help deliver the best, safest results.

Shaving removes hair at the surface and will interfere with waxing results and scheduling. If you shave, allow regrowth of at least one to two weeks so wax can grip the hair properly; ideally avoid shaving between sessions.

Apply a soothing, fragrance-free lotion or aloe gel after waxing, avoid hot baths, sun exposure and intense exercise for 24–48 hours, and exfoliate gently after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and support smooth healing.

Avoid waxing if you’re using strong topical retinoids, certain acne medications, or have open wounds, active sunburn, varicose veins or recent surgery. Pregnant clients and those with medical concerns should inform their technician or consult a doctor first.
