Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Underarms.

Underarms waxing typically keeps skin smooth for three to six weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and care routine. Regular appointments can lead to finer regrowth. Avoid shaving between sessions and follow aftercare to maximize results and prolong smoothness.

Yes. Proper waxing removes hair from the root, lowering the chance of razor burn and many ingrown hairs. We use gentle techniques and recommend exfoliation plus soothing aftercare to further reduce irritation and promote healthier underarm skin between appointments.

Most clients experience brief discomfort as the hair is removed, but pain is minimal and short-lived. Our therapists use pre-wax calming products, correct technique and quick removal to limit sensation. Numbing products are available on request for especially sensitive clients.

Ensure hair is around a quarter-inch long, avoid heavy deodorants immediately before, and gently exfoliate a day or two prior. Clean, dry skin allows better wax adherence and reduces the risk of irritation for optimal results.

We recommend every three to four weeks initially to match your natural cycle. As hair thins with regular waxing, visits can stretch to five or six weeks. Your therapist will advise a personalized schedule based on regrowth and skin sensitivity.

Avoid deodorant or antiperspirant for at least twelve to twenty-four hours post-wax to prevent irritation. Use gentle, fragrance-free products afterward and follow our soothing aftercare (aloe or antibacterial spray). If you have concerns, ask your therapist for product recommendations.
