Get answers to common questions about Full Legs.
Most clients enjoy smooth legs for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycles and individual hormones. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and produce finer hair. We recommend scheduling every 4–6 weeks to maintain optimum results and smoothness.
Some sensation is normal, especially the first time or on sensitive areas, but our therapists use gentle techniques, room-temperature wax and calming aftercare. Numbing creams are available on request; breathing and short breaks help reduce discomfort.
Ideally hair should be about ¼ inch (6mm) long so the wax can grip the follicle. If hair is too short we may ask you to wait; if too long, we’ll trim it to a comfortable length for efficient waxing.
Avoid heavy creams, oils or tanning 24–48 hours before your appointment, and exfoliate gently 48 hours prior. Arrive with clean, dry skin without recent sunburn. Let us know about medications or skin treatments like retinoids.
Shaving between waxing sessions is not recommended because it removes the hair shaft and changes regrowth patterns, making waxing less effective. If you must shave, avoid it a few days before your appointment so enough hair returns for a proper wax.
Redness, mild swelling or tiny bumps are common for 24–48 hours. Avoid hot baths, tight clothing and sun exposure afterward. Use soothing products we recommend; persistent irritation, infection signs or severe discomfort should be reported to us for assessment.
