Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Lower Legs.

Results usually last three to six weeks depending on your hair growth rate and lifestyle. Regular waxing can lengthen cycles and soften regrowth. We recommend booking every four to six weeks for consistently smooth lower legs.

Most clients feel brief, manageable discomfort during the first few sessions, then experience reduced sensitivity as hair becomes finer. We use pre-wax numbing options and calming techniques to keep pain minimal — tell your therapist about concerns beforehand.

Clean, dry skin is best. Exfoliate gently 24 to 48 hours before to remove dead skin, avoid heavy moisturizers on the day, let hair be at least a quarter-inch, and wear loose clothing for comfort.

Waxing can sometimes lead to ingrown hairs if follicles are clogged. We reduce risk using proper technique, post-wax exfoliation, and recommending topical aftercare. Follow our exfoliation and moisturising tips to prevent ingrowns and maintain smooth lower leg skin.

Avoid intense exercise for 24 to 48 hours to prevent sweat-related irritation and pore inflammation. Light walking is fine, but skip saunas, hot tubs, and heavy gym sessions until redness subsides and skin feels normal.

For best results hair should be roughly a quarter inch (about 6 mm) long so the wax can grip. If it's shorter you'll be asked to wait; very long hair can be trimmed by our therapist before waxing.
