Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Buttocks Strip.

Most Buttocks Strip appointments take about 15–30 minutes depending on hair amount and comfort needs. We allow extra time for consultation, prep and aftercare guidance to ensure a precise, comfortable result and proper healing advice.

Some sensitivity is normal, especially on delicate skin. Our therapists use gentle warming wax, expert technique, and soothing pre- and post-wax care to minimize pain. Taking ibuprofen beforehand and keeping skin exfoliated between sessions can also help reduce discomfort.

Clean, dry skin is best. Avoid heavy lotions or oils on the day, gently exfoliate 48 hours before to prevent ingrown hairs, and allow hair to be at least 1/4 inch long. Inform us of any skin sensitivities or medications.

Regrowth varies, but typically hairs return in 3–6 weeks. With regular waxing over months, regrowth becomes finer and sparser. Follow recommended scheduling and aftercare to maximize smooth time and reduce chances of ingrown hairs and irritation.

Generally considered safe, but hormonal skin sensitivity increases during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Tell your therapist if pregnant or nursing; we may use gentler wax, avoid certain products, or recommend a patch test. Always consult your healthcare provider for personal medical advice.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, tight clothing and heavy exercise for 24–48 hours. Keep the area clean, use our recommended soothing lotion or oil, exfoliate gently after 48 hours, and avoid tanning or harsh products until fully healed to prevent irritation and infection.
