For best results, hair should be about 1/4 inch (5mm) long so the wax can grip. If hair is longer we can trim it; too short may reduce effectiveness.

Mild redness and sensitivity are normal immediately after waxing. We use calming gels and recommend avoiding hot baths, sun exposure, and tight clothing for 24–48 hours.

Most clients return every 4–6 weeks at first. As hair thins, intervals often extend to 6–8 weeks. Regular waxing can reduce overall regrowth and improve comfort.

Discomfort varies by person but is brief. To reduce pain, avoid caffeine, breathe slowly, exfoliate between appointments, and consider topical numbing cream if especially sensitive.

Brazilian waxing is generally safe during pregnancy, often after the first trimester. Increased sensitivity can occur; consult your healthcare provider and inform your therapist before booking.

Avoid tanning, heavy exfoliation, retinoids, and blood-thinning medications before waxing. Afterward, skip intense workouts, hot tubs, and tight clothing for 24–48 hours to protect skin and prevent irritation.
